GOING OUT? HERE ARE 3 TIPS TO KEEP SAFE
During the pandemic, one of the best ways not to get infected is to stay at home. Companies, especially delivery services, have been keeping up and are doing a great job in their services. However, sooner or later, there will always be a need to go out. It may be to get supplies since delivery fees can sometimes be expensive, or it may be an essential errand for work or a health-related task.
Whatever the important reason may be, everyone must stay vigilant in fighting the spread of the virus. To help out, here are three tips to keep safe when going out:
MAKE A CHECKLIST OF ESSENTIAL ITEMS
Create a list of essential things that have to be with you at all times. Essentials like a facemask, face shield, and alcohol should be on that list. Also, having an extra of those three wouldn’t hurt. It’s always better to be prepared.
DON’T WANDER AROUND
Make sure to know what you need to do and the place you have to go to. Unlike before, it’s not advisable to aimlessly wander around and not have a destination in mind. The less time you spend outside, the smaller the chance is for you to contract the virus.
BE CONSCIOUS
Always be conscious of your surroundings. Always follow the social distancing protocols. Some people tend to forget about social distancing, so it’s up to you to be the one to politely let them know or be the one to move away to create some distance. Another thing to be conscious of is your hands. Always remember to spray some alcohol whenever you handle an object or touch a surface. The virus could linger at a plastic or steel surface for up to three days, 24 hours on cardboard, and up to four hours on copper.
Lastly, when at home after a day out, make sure to take a bath and disinfect items that you’ve brought home. It may be meticulous and a hassle, but it’s always better to be safe than sorry.
